Sales Development Representative (SDR)

BioT, an innovative Health Tech startup developing a platform for cloud-powered medical devices, is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The SDR will play a critical role in generating new business by identifying and nurturing potential customers, ultimately driving revenue growth. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and eager to expand and grow their career.

We are looking for a self-starter to become the company’s first SDR. The ideal candidate should have a proactive and results-oriented mindset, high-level communication, technical, and analytical skills, and be an organized, responsible individual capable of working in a fast-paced sales environment.

The SDR will play a critical role in scheduling meetings for conferences the company is taking part in, following up on leads derived from webinars, social media activities, and website inquiries. They will also be responsible for nurturing warm marketing leads in the company's lead pipeline. The position requires communicating with prospects during their working hours, covering both US and European time zones. We are looking for someone capable of managing several campaigns simultaneously and supporting the sales team during events and conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Research and qualify potential leads using conference lists, company databases, LinkedIn, and other tools. Proactively identify relevant prospects (companies and stakeholders) and qualify them based on our target audience strategy, including factors like company size, territory, and medical segments, to ensure they align with our target customer profile
  • Build personalized pitches by researching target personas to identify their needs and interests. Manage the phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn message scripts. 
  • Outreach: Initiate outbound communication via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate new meetings for the sales team.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and progression in our CRM system. Additionally, initiate campaign reports.
  • Feedback: Provide valuable insights to the sales and marketing teams to improve lead generation strategies. Share market insights, and offer perspectives on customer preferences and trends.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Meet and exceed monthly goals.
  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook and continuously improve processes and strategies to drive more effective outreach and lead generation.

Required skills and qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as an SDR in a B2B SaaS environment. 
  • Native English speaker.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough discovery calls with potential customers to understand their pain points, challenges, and requirements, and effectively articulate the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Initiative and highly motivated, with a problem-solving and can-do attitude.
  • Proven technical and analytical skills.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, organized, and responsible individual. 
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Proven experience in CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and Excel.   Experience with Hubspot is an advantage 
  • A self-starter with a strong desire to grow their career in sales and work in the company for a long period of time
  • Advantage - Experience in building outreach playbook and sales pitches 
  • Advantage - Experience in managing outreach campaigns using outreach platforms (e.g Outreach.io)
  • Advantage - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. 
  • Advantage - Strong knowledge of the MedTech industry, including an understanding of medical devices, healthcare software, and regulatory compliance
